Our Doctor

Glen A. Ritter DVM

Dr. Ritter graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 and is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Louisiana. He is the current secretary and treasurer and the past president of the local veterinary association, NWLVMA. He is a member of the state and national associations, LVMA, AVMA, and AAHA. Dr. Ritter is the D.A.L.E. Area Expert in Pain Management, (now called E.L.I.T.E., Experts Leading the Industry through Education).

He has two daughters, three grandsons, one granddaughter, and one Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix named Watson. He loves LSU football and the New Orleans Saints! He also loves to travel, with Italy being his favorite adventure!

Management

Christina Rinaudo

Christina came to Riverside in November of 1998, and became our office manager and lead assistant in November of 2005. When she is not the smiling face welcoming clients in the office, she is assisting in surgery or the examination rooms, performing dental cleanings, or caring for hospitalized pets. She has completed almost all of her requirements to become a licensed veterinary technician.

Christina is married with one son. She has two dogs, five cats, 2 pigs, and 10 chickens! When not at work, she loves to cook, bake, and travel with family. Christina keeps our clinic full of home-made treats! She loves all things Disney!

Ashley Ritter Font

Ashley has worked at Riverside since 1998. Ashley graduated from Centenary College in 2005 and later returned to complete all courses required for veterinary school. She became our business manager in 2010. She returned to Riverside in late 2015 after spending three years working for a top animal health manufacturer. When not overseeing the daily finances, she works closely with clients scheduling appointments and providing education on the care of their pets. Ashley also assists the doctor in the examination, treatment, and surgical suites.

Ashley loves to rescue and rehabilitate pit bull dogs. She currently has one rescued pit bull, a boxer, a three legged puggle, and a cat. Ashley is married with one daughter. She loves all things pink and unicorns!

Kennel

Zilda Bordelon

Zilda has been part of the Riverside family since 1989. She began as a part time volunteer in 1989 and became a full-time animal caretaker in February of 2004. She works behind the scenes, keeping the pets happy, comfortable, and well loved. She also oversees kennel management assignments. Zilda has a son and a daughter. She spends all her free time with her best friend and family. Zilda loves crafting!

Karin Heilman

Karin has been with Riverside since 1989, (brief leave of absence 2009-2010). She became full-time in 2004 and shares kennel management duties with Zilda. She also works behind the scenes making sure every pets get the love, attention, and treats they need. She has two sons and a daughter. She graduated from LSU-S with a Sociology degree in 2006. Karin spends her spare time with her best friend and family. She loves crafting and knitting!

Fiona

Fiona is a six year old calico that enjoys lounging in the window and kitty toys filled with catnip.

Boogie

Boogie is a three year old white and orange tabby that has a bigger wardrobe than most and feels more sassy in her tutu dresses.

Edgar

Edgar is a two year old black cat who likes to sneak around the clinic, loves kitty toys with feathers and sparkle, and enjoys to taking naps with blankets and his best friend.
